Developmental Checkups will be held on Friday, April 5th and Friday, May 24th for students entering the Early Learning Program, and Kindergarten students who have not attended JEES before.
A developmental checkup involves community partners who work together to facilitate fun activities for parents and children to do together at five different centers (communication [Speech and Language Pathologist on site], gross motor, fine motor, problem solving and personal/social). Parents gain important knowledge regarding their child’s development and have the opportunity to access resources and, if needed, support to enhance their child’s development. This also assists the school to have staffing and supports in place when children enter school in the fall.
You may sign your child up for a developmental check-up at the time of registration.
