Alberta 2030 Telephone Town Hall Opportunity

Dear Stakeholders:

I am pleased to invite you to participate in a telephone town hall, which is the final key component of the formal consultations for the Alberta 2030: Building Skills for Jobs initiative. These upcoming events will focus on presenting the Alberta 2030 strategy and opening up the floor to listen to questions from participants.

There are six telephone town halls scheduled to occur from January 6 to 14, 2021. While the material presented at each town hall will be the same, the events are organized by stakeholder group to facilitate more focused discussions. I encourage you to attend the event that reflects your role in the system. Recognizing that this may not fit into everyone's calendar, you are also welcome to attend any of the other town halls if they are better suited to your schedule.

Please register for a town hall via the following link (which can also be found on the Alberta 2030 webpage<https://www.alberta.ca/alberta-2030-building-skills-for-jobs.aspx>): docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSczDQ25KqHlWLpETXoO8mMLm3wanQS7iX0m1egjGGsoVdHtcQ/viewform<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSczDQ25KqHlWLpETXoO8mMLm3wanQS7iX0m1egjGGsoVdHtcQ/viewform>.

I am requesting that you please share this engagement opportunity within your organizations and networks. All perspectives are valued and important to ensure the initiative is a success.

The Alberta 2030: Building Skills for Jobs strategy is a priority for Alberta's government, and an important step in strengthening the post-secondary system for all Albertans, now and in the future.

I look forward to your participation and contributions.

Best,

Demetrios Nicolaides
Minister of Advanced Education
