Regardless of whether or not you celebrate a special holiday during this time of year, please make sure you take time to get some rest and have some fun. We are all a little bitter because there are people we can’t see this holiday, but don’t forget to cherish the time you have with those loved ones that we can.
This has once again been a trying time, and we wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your support. We understand that, through all the chaos, we may not always agree, but as long as we keep asking, “What is best for our children?” we will never go wrong.
As it stands, the first week of January will be at-home learning. You will receive a package of material before that date. Teachers will be available to support students who are having difficulty. All the specific details will be communicated by your child’s homeroom teacher. Don’t panic if it is too much or too little. We will hopefully pick up where we left off on January 11th.
On behalf of the staff at Jennie Emery, relax, stay safe, get some rest and enjoy this happy holiday season.
See you all soon!
Curtis Uyesugi, Principal
